4 top gymnasts go on 26 hour trip to San Diego

As I write these notes i started to fall asleep, all 4 girls are now in bed about 26 hours travelling. the flight from London was delayed two hours which meant we failed to get to Texas in time for our connecting flight to San Diego.

Anyway after Sam wiped everything from Al's phone, then decided to throw her own on the floor gaining access to Larry or Donna back home was somewhat difficult. In the end all is well after Larry collected us all from the airport. It was so nice to be met by Larry after having limited talks with anyone with our mobiles down. Continental flight over was actually really good,loads of films and the leg room was good,food typical plane food but edible...well i ate all mine anyway!

Lucy our youngest in the party showed the most of the tiredness on arrival here as she was quiet and had managed to sleep the whole 3 hours despite not being sat directly with one of us. The fact we missed our original internal flight where upon i had secured really good seats, meant we were squeezed onto an already full flight.

Jess was directly behind Lucy and they placed Sam with me as we the eldest in exit seats, all very well for us but i was unhappy that they had not placed my 12 year old with a direct companion and told them this too. I will be making an official complaint this end to Continental thus hoping it will go someway to securing seats for the return trip. Having said this it was only me annoyed and agitated as i like them to be within arms touch, Lucy just slept anyway and Bex and Jess who were within spitting distance were all cool.
So we arrived thanks to Larry in style here at the hotel, they gave the girls room 214 which we tried to open with our keys to then find out that opps sorry 216 is your room, thank god 214 was not occupied as it was not through lack of trying on the girls part lol

so I am in 209 and they are 216 same level about two beam lengths apart. Thats it for now apart from to say that gallery is the pages from now on in to follow the girls day, if they rise!
All the girls faces lit up by the way when Larry told them about some off the things planned for them, including the famous San Diego zoo where he has gained us free passes!. A day trip to the water park, i will be on handbag duty i thinks! also shopping, a beach barbi and of course hard training starting Monday 4pm to 8-3opm. All in all the girls will have a great time.

Special thanks to Donna who helped us stay in touch with Larry via England when our phones were down and the flights all changed, Donna played a huge part in ensuring we were met and safely escorted to our final destination. We used Sams' phone but then she dropped it.!!!! so thn it was Bex turn and hers kept playing up, it was getting squeeky bum time, but all along Donna managed to get a message through to us and was dealing with Larrry direct, and for the first time on her part as well.
