These are very popular classes where the children need not have had previous experience. It is great for those wanting to try out gymnastics for the first time.

These classes tend to be full with waiting lists. Maximum numbers in the class is 20 and they run from 4.15pm to 5.15pm Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday and Friday.

Although they only train once a week they do compete in the Club Championships which we hold each year in May. Some do two days of comps and if they develop more skills we will consider moving them into evening classes.

Like all gymnasts they get the experience on all the equipment, including climbing ropes, Trampet, bars, vault, floor, rings, beams and spring boards.






These classes are headed By different coaches throughout the week with great help from ex squad gymnasts who now are part of the development of others. 

Children who are unable to attend perhaps in the Saturday classes are able to attend two Beamers classes if places exist, to boost their time training gymnastics.


The picture on the right is of a gymnast who came from Wellsmead after school gym, she then joined the Beamers and then went into  two hour training programme. Before she called it  a day she entered competitions and won many medals.
