How areas are combined to provide a true online community

  • Everyone contributes to make the site work for all. The administrator has his/her own profile and is treated as a community member also. Updates by the administrator are visible by everyone using the website.
  • Each time the administrator adds a new page to the site it is visible in an activity pane showing the latest updates to the site.
  • All site activity is visible in an activity pane to the right or left of the website main content area and is visible on each page. Each time a comment is made or posting added to a page the site activity is updated. Attached to the activity is the members profile picture and link to the comment left. Clicking the profile picture opens the members profile detail.
  • The activity page. A more intuitive page can be used by members whereby members can make quick postings and comments on multiple subjects on one page only. All the conversation threads are displayed here and it's easy to contribute to any conversation. This saves the need to be on each page to leave your comment or posting.
  • The administrator decides on the automatic publish of members comments. Trusted members can have their comments appear online instantly. Members that have added themselves via the website and are not personally known may benefit from the approval system. Each comment is required to be put live by the administrator once checked.
  • Perfect for communities that require input from various sources.
  • Administrators will always contribute to the site but allowing a group of community members to also contribute to the site will always ensure the site is fresh, interesting and current.
  • Members may also get to know each other through leaving comments and viewing their profiles. It is possible to view contact information if the member has optionally added to their profile.
  • The activity pane is almost like a twitter feed always displaying the latest updates to the site in a convenient format displayed on every page.
